What type of control system is used on the Baxi AquaHeat range?
At Baxi, our heat interface units (HIUs) have a full electronic control system that uses our in-house designed TR-04 controller.
Full specifications of the control system can be found in the AquaHeat Specification Guide here, but we have also highlighted some of the key features below.
Suitable for all temperature concepts
Our Smart Control functions manage the amount of heat that is taken from the central heat network, allowing the HIU to operate efficiently and flexibly, according to individual temperature concepts and requirements of end users.
Domestic Hot Water (DHW) priority with feed forward concept
With our smart control HIUs, Domestic Hot Water (DHW) supply is always prioritised to ensure that hot water is always available and peak loads minimised.
Adaptive control technology
The Baxi AquaHeat HIU has three main modes: Eco, Dynamic and Comfort. These provide an adaptive solution to suit different comfort levels and other needs, whether it’s keeping to a specific temperature point or using technology to maintain optimal temperature in the most energy efficient way.
Keep warm functions with fast acting response
Using smart technology allows the area to reach a desired temperature efficiently and maintain comfort. The keep warm functions can be set either according to temperature or time, providing a fully flexible solution to suit different requirements.
