Phased delivery for flexible project requirements

Our expert team can manage a phased delivery of our HIU products and accessories, according to different projects and their respective call-off schedules. This allows you to feel confident that you’ll have everything you need when it’s required.

What to do before your HIU is delivered

Ahead of your HIU delivery, our expert team will work alongside you to understand your full requirements and specifications. As the unit will likely be situated on a wall in a boiler room, it’s important that there is enough space for it to be placed and accessed for maintenance and servicing.

You’ll also need to ensure your current pipework is well insulated and there are no leaks or cracks.

What to expect during a HIU installation

Our expert installer will install your HIU in line with stringent safety requirements and building regulations. We recommend having a range of accessories to make the installation process smooth, such as a First Fix Rail, which can be provided with your unit or as part of a phased delivery. A manual isolation valve will be opened to flush out any debris from the distribution pipework prior to filling and dosing the system.

The unit will be mounted to the most suitable wall, with the necessary pipework and electrical connections made. Our installer will then test the unit and all components to ensure they are working safely and effectively.
