What approvals and certification does the Baxi AquaHeat range hold?

Each product in the Baxi AquaHeat range of heat interface units (HIUs) is compliant with the UK Water Regulations & Bylaws, with the certification carried out by the globally recognised NSF organisation.

Our HIUs are compliant with BESA 2023 requirements in preparation for Heat Network Technical Assurance Scheme (HNTAS) regulation, so you can futureproof your building ready for new legal requirements.

Our products have also been tested by Enertek to the BESA Technical Standard – results can be found in the AquaHeat specification guide. The Baxi AquaHeat range boasts extremely low VWART figures and has achieved Best Practice in more than half of BESA tests carried out. We are also proud to have the first BESA 2023 certified Direct HIU with best practice heat loss performance.

Beyond our extensive list of certifications and approvals, our HIUs are all covered by a five-year parts and labour warranty* so you can be confident that when you need additional support for your unit, our experts will be on hand to help.

With remote monitoring capabilities through the innovative Mercurius programme that is installed on our HIUs, you’ll have full, real-time visibility of how your system is operating and identify safety or efficiency issues before they escalate. This means that you can be assured that your HIU is working in accordance with all current safety regulations.
