Our specialist course provides MCS, BPEC accredited or equivalent heat pump certified Installers with the skills to design, install and commission our air source heat pump range and become a Baxi Heat Pump Installer.
Learning is not just about sitting in a classroom, that's why our free training courses have been designed to provide you with a unique 'hands-on' training experience with the latest ranges of Baxi products, under the supervision of our qualified Baxi trainers.
No. The majority of your day will be spent in practical sessions in our workshops. During these sessions you'll get the opportunity to get 'hands-on' with appliances and components, giving you the knowledge of how the components work, can be tested when fault finding and how they function when the boiler is operating. Any theory in the classroom is essential to support the course’s practical elements.
You can expect to learn about boiler features, functions and construction. You'll be provided with a complete understanding of boiler installation, commissioning, servicing and all its components. We will put you in real situations with live products. The skills you'll learn will be transferable to the work you do and you'll be able to put them into practice straightaway.
Our trainers will also tell you about any latest industry updates and legislative changes such as ErP, EN15502 and changes to Building Regs Part L.
Our training courses are delivered at our dedicated Baxi Training Centres and Satellite Training Centres located throughout the UK, so you shouldn’t have to travel too far. Our Baxi Training Centres are CIPHE approved, so you can be sure they meet the very highest standards. Find your nearest Training Centre here.
Yes. You will need to allow for a full day in your diary (9am to 4pm with lunch provided). We understand your time valuable and that you have a business to run, so you'll be given breaks throughout the day to make calls and attend to your business.
Your trainer will begin by giving you a product overview followed by a talk through the latest industry insights. This will be followed by practical sessions in the workshop, where you'll spend the majority of your time.
If you are on a free product training day, there will be a brief session with the local Baxi area sales manager to learn about Baxi Works, current promotions and the advantages of working with Baxi.
To show new skills up close, we keep the group small. It's relaxed, down-to-earth, but serious about giving you essential know-how.
Our trainers are all qualified heating engineers, ready to share their knowledge and experience. They know the products inside out, and will give you inside knowledge you can use every day. Meet our trainers here.
We will send you a booking confirmation telling you the date, time and location of your course. We will also send you a map and directions to the training centre and an agenda, so you know what to expect on the day.
Join us at a merchant near you to find our more about Baxi. Your local Baxi representative will be on hand to keep you up to date with our latest products, changes to heating industry legislation and to answer your questions.
You'll also have the opportunity to take advantage of our giveaways, special offers and prize draws.
