Fault-finding and wiring courses

Our three-day fault-finding course has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, so you can be assured you’re gaining the information you need from the very best in the business.

On the first day, you’ll get to grips with a multimeter. Our trainers will explain how to use this valuable tool to carry out safety checks and identify whether components are working properly.

Day two is all about combis. You’ll understand the sequence of events that lead to the boiler firing up, making it easier to work through and identify where an issue may lie when you’re called to a breakdown.

And on the last day, you’ll put everything you’ve learned into practice, working on live boilers that have been set up by our trainers with faults you must identify and put right. This end-to-end course will give you the confidence to pinpoint issues before they worsen, satisfying your customers and building your reputation as a competent and assured installer.
