A world of entertainment in a month

Tim Burton’s flying elephant isn’t the only thing to enjoy this month. Here are some other important dates for your entertainment calendar.

When the clocks sprung forward last weekend it may have seemed like a cruel twist of fate, so this Sunday why don’t you take the kids out to see Dumbo, giving your partner those vital extra few hours in bed?

Other things to look forward to this month:

1st April-31st May – Double Points on Baxi 600 Combi – we’re offering double points on all Baxi 600 Combi boilers you register on Baxi Works for warranty or Gas Safe and warranty. You have until the 31st May to collect as many points as you can and earn those rewards.

15th-26th April – School Spring Holidays – school’s out for…two weeks. Alright, so it’s not quite Alice Cooper, but be prepared to see more kids out, about or hanging round at home this month.

21st April – Easter Sunday – whether it’s a time for family, relaxation, chocolate, or all of the above, Easter weekend is always something to look forward to.

Film & T.V.

Game of Thrones, 14th April – you might have heard of this. One of two cultural phenomena coming to a close this month, the season will contain 6 episodes, three of which are feature length. Tissues at the ready.

Avengers: Endgame, 26th April – cultural ‘marvel’ number two, and the culmination of over a decade of inter-connected spandex films. Whether you’re happy or sad about this, one thing is certain: it’s going to be huge.

Big sporting events

The Masters,11th-14th April – the golfing major calendar tees off at Augusta. Will Rory McIlroy finally get his arms into that green jacket?

London Marathon, 28th April – the clock is running down for the brave souls taking part. For those of us who prefer to sweat from the comfort of our own sofa, you still have plenty of time to buy snacks.
