Learning Days
Why attend a Learning DayÂ
As we move through the energy transition, it is really important that we train the new generation of engineers on the latest heating and hot water solutions. At Baxi, we are committed to helping close the skills gap by encouraging diverse talent into the industry and providing expert training courses to develop the necessary skills on low carbon technologies.
To help prepare your students for a future in low temperature heating, we are providing a limited number of Learning Days. Courses are free of charge and bookable on a first come first served basis.
Benefits of bringing your students to a Learning Day?
What to expect on the day
For heating apprentices just starting out, understanding the latest technologies available with trusted manufacturers could help give them a head start when they qualify.
Students will gain valuable insights from our experienced trainers who are solutions experts with years of practical industry experience and technical know-how to pass on. Each session will provide students with an opportunity to get hands on with our latest range of heat pumps, boilers and heat networks.
The one day Learning Day has been designed to provide students with real-world experience of working products held in one of our bespoke training facilities.
Please note filming and photography will be undertaken during some of the learnings days. Consent forms will be provided prior to any filming or photography, should you or any of your students prefer not to be photographed please let the team know on the day. The photographs and recordings made may be used on our website, social media or literature.
Air Source Heat Pumps
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) provide an extremely efficient method of generating heat. Using an electrically driven compressor and fan, ASHPs use the latent heat in ambient air to boil off refrigerant that is superheated by the compressor. This is then transferred via a plate heat exchanger into a wet heating system. ASHPs can easily achieve a seasonal efficiency of 400% or more.
Students will get an overview of how a heat pump works, our product range and some installation considerations.
