Yorkshire construction businesses and developers invited to explore future of home heating at Everything Electric North

Sustainable heating and hot water specialist Baxi is inviting construction businesses and property developers from across Yorkshire to explore its full range of electric solutions at Everything Electric North.

Organised by Fully Charged, the world’s leading home energy and electric vehicle channel founded and hosted by actor and presenter Robert Llewellyn, Everything Electric North will take place at Harrogate’s Yorkshire Event Centre from 24-26 May.

As the homeowner brand of choice for sustainable heating solutions, Baxi’s presence at the show enhances the organisers’ vision to support the mainstream adoption of cleaner, low-carbon home energy technologies.

The company is inviting construction and housebuilding companies from across the region to explore the variety of low carbon heating and hot water solutions available to them. This comes as organisations building new homes must continue to consider sustainable solutions such as heat pumps to meet the requirements of the Future Homes Standard 2025.

Baxi’s cutting edge stand will offer visitors an engaging walk around experience where they can benefit from expert advice on heating solutions, featured product demonstrations, and support with training and sales.

Providing a perspective on both the internal and external elements of a heat pump solution, Baxi will also be showcasing its prefabricated understairs heating solution. Housebuilders and developers in the Yorkshire region can see first-hand how they could easily integrate an air source heat pump solution, which is available via Travis Perkins’ WholeHouse® digital house design platform. This industry-first platform allows smaller regional housebuilders and developers across the UK to plan and design a complete, bespoke digital model of a house before beginning construction.

The company will exhibit its HP40 Air Source Heat Pump, Heatrae Sadia Amptec S Electric Boiler, the Megaflo Solar PV Indirect Cylinder and the Baxi uSense 2 Smart Thermostat. Everything Electric visitors keen to explore heat pump technology will also be treated to an exclusive preview of Baxi’s newest addition before its official launch. The high temperature R290 Air Source Heat Pump uses propane, a natural gas refrigerant with a lower global warming potential than many comparable alternatives.

The Harrogate event will see Ryan Kirkwood, Baxi’s Engineering Solutions Manager, take part in a panel event on 25 May entitled Ask the experts: Home heating – all options explored and explained. This session provides an opportunity for housebuilders and developers to hear about all the available solutions and ask the experts what will work best for their properties.

Corey Gooding, Strategic Account Manager at Baxi, said: “Everything Electric North is a fantastic event for showcasing the very best in innovative, sustainable energy solutions. As the show grows its remit in the home energy space, we are looking forward showcasing our sustainable heating technologies to visitors. On our stand, they will be able to see for themselves just how well Baxi can aid the delivery of more efficient and sustainable homes across Yorkshire.

“Our experts will be on hand to show visitors from the housebuilding sector around our full electrified range, answer pressing questions, provide demos and advice on products and solutions, and give support on finding the right fit for them.”
