Should I be Gas Safe registered to install an air source heat pump?
You do not need to be Gas Safe registered to install air source heat pumps, however you will need to consider that in almost all cases boilers will be removed in place of the heat pump which will require Gas Safe certification.
If you wish to access grants you would need to be certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). By utilising the Baxi MCS Umbrella Scheme, you can focus on growing your business and installing whilst we look after the admin and compliance.
