What types of HIU are available as part of the Baxi AquaHeat range?

The Baxi AquaHeat Heat Interface Unit (HIU) range is available in two main types;


  1. Baxi AquaHeat HI / HWI – meaning Heating Indirect and Hot Water Indirect. These units are suited for individual dwellings be that an apartment or house and are fit with two plate heat exchangers: one for space heating, the other for instantaneous DHW production. 
  2. Baxi AquaHeat HI – meaning Heating Indirect. These units are suited for communal spaces or Commercial Premises within a development and can provide high levels of space heating with no DHW production. 


With these two models, the Baxi AquaHeat range can meet the needs of most apartment building developments by supplying models suited for both the apartments themselves and the communal / commercial spaces within the development.
