Heat pumps

How do I use my heat pump’s holiday mode?

The holiday mode on your Baxi air source heat pump can be activated from your Baxi AmbiZen smart thermostat or the My Baxi app.

Simply select ‘More’ at the bottom of the screen and choose ‘Holiday Mode’ from the available list. You can then select the day you go on holiday using the 'Departure' function and your return date by selecting 'Arrival'. This will ensure that the holiday mode will only run during the period that you’re away.

Using Holiday mode during summer keeps your property at a suitable temperature while using a reduced amount of energy. It also allows your heat pump and all its important components to keep on working so they are ready for when the temperature drops again.

The advantage of using the Holiday Mode feature within the My Baxi app is that you can control your heating whilst you are away on a separate holiday schedule without disrupting your usual schedules. The Holiday Mode is not a new schedule - it goes into an 'anti-frost' mode for the defined period to keep your home at a suitable temperature.
