Baxi boilers are highly efficient. In 2018, updates to Building Regulations made it a requirement for all new boilers to be at least 92% efficient.  

A system boiler heats water in a storage cylinder which then heats the water in your central heating system, delivering hot water to taps and showers. You won’t need to have a separate tank in the loft, which can save space, and have multiple hot water taps running at the same time without losing performance.

Boilers should be installed by a Gas Safe engineer and in line with specific building regulations.

Heat only boilers are known as conventional or open vent boilers. These use a hot water cylinder, normally situated in an airing cupboard, and a separate storage tank in the loft to provide hot water when needed.  

A combi boiler combines heating and hot water into one appliance, with water instantly heated when the hot tap is turned on and the heating activated when the inside temperature drops below a set level.  

A condensing boiler, like our modern combi boilers, captures and reuses heat that may have normally been lost from the boiler’s flue pipe when warming your home and hot water. This makes condensing boilers a highly efficient option.
