Top up your boiler pressure with Easy-Fill

It is quite normal for the boiler pressure to need topping up from time to time, and this is something you can do easily yourself, especially if your boiler has an Easy-Fill permanent filling link. If your boiler’s pressure gauge is in the red, or has dropped below 1 bar, you need to top up the pressure.

Why does the pressure drop?

A number of things can cause pressure to drop. If you have bled your radiators recently, pressure could be lost. Or it may be that there is a leak somewhere in your heating system. The leak could be so tiny you haven’t noticed, but if you have to keep topping up the pressure, you may want to ask your installer to check the rest of the system next time he services the boiler.
