Baxi launches high-output Auriga HP+ air source heat pump series
Baxi has strengthened its commercial low-carbon heating portfolio with the launch of new higher-output Auriga HP+ reversible ASHPs, designed to support heating, cooling and domestic hot water generation from a single platform.
Baxi’s expanded high-output Auriga HP+ range is available in two versions.
The Auriga HP+ high-output model provides high performance across the full 50kW to 170kW capacity range, making it perfect for applications where high standards of comfort and control are required.
The Auriga HP+ ES (55-170 kW outputs) adds EC inverter axial fans that deliver high airflow at reduced speeds, enhancing performance and reducing sound levels by 8 dB(A). This makes it particularly well suited to noise-sensitive environments where acoustic performance is a key consideration.
Both models provide reliable, energy-efficient comfort management for a wide range of commercial applications from new build to retrofit.
Auriga HP+ range
The Auriga HP+ 50-170kW is designed for applications where high standards of comfort and reliability are required. This range is also configurable with factory fitted options, perfect for retrofitting existing systems, including those with traditional radiators, as it delivers hot water at temperatures of up to 70°C.
Auriga HP+ ES range
The Auriga HP+ 55-170kW ES range is also highly configurable, and delivers high efficiency and reduced acoustic impact.
A key benefit of the new Baxi Auriga HP+ high output heat pumps is that they are highly configurable with a wide choice of factory-fitted options that can support different design requirements and site conditions. This enables consultants, contractors and building operators to define a solution that is built around the needs of the building, rather than adapting the building to the limitations of the equipment.
At the heart of the range is a focus on energy saving and lower environmental impact. Designed to deliver year-round comfort and system resilience, the Auriga HP+ models use R290 propane, a 100% natural refrigerant with very low global warming potential of just 3. The ErP SCOP-compliant heat pumps deliver hot water at temperatures up to 70°C while maintaining high performance and excellent energy efficiency. They are designed to operate in heating mode from outdoor air temperatures as low as -20°C in winter and up to +42°C in summer.
