Suitable for vertical and horizontal flues

IFOS is a cost effective way to provide additional SAP benefits and comply with Boiler Plus legislation.

The award winning Baxi Multifit in flue outdoor sensor (IFOS) is an easy to install outdoor sensor flue that provides a cost effective way to comply with the requirements for boiler plus - when combined with a time and temperature control - and provides additional SAP benefits for New Build developments.

The patented IFOS can be installed with either a horizontal or vertical flue and is compatible with the Potterton Assure Combi and Potterton Assure System range of boilers.

Also in the range is the Multifit IFOS Ridge Tile Kit and the Multifit extension pack.

IFOS can be fitted to any horizontal or vertical flue, regardless to the position, because it fits under the air duct and is kept out of direct sunlight. The cable runs back to the boiler through the flue air duct, so you won’t have to drill any walls to route unsightly cables.

Multifit IFOS Combi for both horizontal and vertical flue terminals. Compatible with Potterton Assure Combi boilers

The Multifit IFOS System relay simply clips onto the printed circuit board (PCB), making it compatible with the Potterton Assure System boiler range.

The Multifit IFOS Ridge Tile kit can be used when a vertical flue needs to end with a ridge tile terminal kit; the IFOS is pre-fitted into the terminal, making installation much simpler and reducing additional work at height.

The Multifit IFOS extension pack can safely extend the length of Multifit IFOS Combi, System or Ridge Tile kit by up to five metres, providing installers with even more flexibility of siting.

  • Saves energy and helps to reduce carbon emissions
  • Sensor housing clips onto the air duct of the flue terminal, so can be fitted quickly and easily
  • IFOS fits under the air duct, so it is kept out of direct sunlight. This means installation is not restricted
  • Free flow of air over the sensor for more accurate temperature sensing
  • Two wire cables run back to the boiler down the flue air duct, so it is extremely simple to fit, with no drilling, disruption or unsightly cables
  • Very few parts, making it an easy solution compared with many other weather sensors.
