Baxi Ecogen - Micro-CHP

The Queen's Award winning Baxi Ecogen micro-CHP dual energy system is a logical, practical and familiar alternative to a regular boiler. It complies with current legislation and significantly reduces carbon emissions while providing all your heating and hot water.

It is a wall hung appliance, similar to a conventional gas boiler, which uses a Free Piston Stirling Engine to generate up to 1kW of electricity that can be used in your home.  Maximum cost savings can be achieved by using the electricity from the Baxi Ecogen as you generate it. For example, you could do your washing or ironing in the evening while your heating is on.
