MCS stands for Microgeneration Certification Scheme, which is a scheme owned by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). It is designed to ensure that microgeneration and installers are tested to ensure the highest quality.
MCS was conceived by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and will be the universal route to financial assistance for microgeneration technologies in the UK.
Baxi Solarflo in-roof solar panels, Baxi Multi-heat biomass and Baxi Solo Innova biomass have all achieved Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certification.
MCS has replaced the product and installer registration schemes (Clear Skies and PV programme) and is intended to grow the microgeneration industry.
Find out more about MCS and how products are accredited here.
Baxi also offer a range of SEDBUK 2005 (>90%) rated high efficiency gas boilers which can help reduce your annual energy bill while being energy efficient and reliable.
