Fueled mainly by natural gas, the GAMMA 1.0 fuel cell heating unit is not much bigger than a traditional boiler and yet provides almost three quarters of the electricity required over the year. At the same time, it covers 100 per cent of the household heat requirement that can be utilised as and when required by means of a heat storage unit. It is small, compact and extremely effective, ideally suited to satisfying the heating and electrical requirements of single-family homes.
Equipped with a supplementary heat storage device and an integrated auxilliary boiler, the BETA 1.5 PLUS can provide virtually all the energy needed in the home, round the clock, as and when it is required: that's up to 75 per cent of the electricity and 100 percent of th heating requirement - all year round.
The GAMMA 1.0 system consists of three components: the fuel cell heating unit, the heat storage unit and the energy manager. When they are adjusted to one another to best suit requirements, they generate the greatest possible potential for energy and CO2 savings.
