The Baxi Multiheat is fuelled by wood pellets. It is highly efficient (around 90%) helping to minimise both costs and emissions when running the unit.
Biomass has been used by generations in the form of wood burning stoves and open fires. However, in true Baxi tradition, we've used the latest advances to make it even better. The Baxi Multiheat cleanly and efficiently uses biofuel to heat space and hot water.
Integrated into central heating systems in a similar way to conventional boilers, the Baxi Multiheat can satisfy the total heating and hot water requirements of homes or businesses.
The Baxi Multiheat is a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certified product, meaning it is eligible for the Government's Feed-in Tariff. For more information on MCS visit our MCS pages.
What is carbon neutral fuel?
Carbon neutral fuel emits more or less the same amount of carbon dioxide as it absorbed while it was growing, so it causes little or no disruption to the earth's delicate CO2 balance. This means that biomass heating is particularly environmentally sound.
