Baxi Geoflo 4kW to 10kW

How does the Geoflo ground source heat pump work?

The Baxi Geoflo ground source heat pump system taps into the natural heat found just metres below the Earth's surface. The heat pump takes the heat at around 10oC and increases the temperature to a level suitable for a heating system. This stable, consistent energy is then used to provide space heating.

Is it suitable for my home?

The Baxi Geoflo is best suited to a well insulated property with an underfloor or low temperature heating system and is designed to provide 100% of the property's space heating requirements.  The 4-10kW range is suitable for small to medium sized properties.

The Baxi Geoflo is easy to install and maintain and is a reliable long term heating solution.

The heat pump consists of four main components:

  • the compressor
  • the expansion valve
  • two heat exchangers (the evaporator and the condenser).

We also provide the matching ground array (slinkies) and manifolds to complete the package.

Highly energy efficient

For every 1kW of energy used 4kW is transferred into an underfloor heating system. There are no flues and no on-site carbon emissions.

Thanks to our continuing commitment to the environment, Baxi can now provide one of the largest ranges of heat pump systems on the market. There are seven single phase models available ranging from 4kW up to 20kW.
