Who is the course aimed at?

Experienced heating engineers, installers and maintenance engineers.

What is covered?

This product specific course covers two different types of appliance and is divided into two sections:

Section one:

An explanation of thermal stores and the Range Powermax, including:

• An explanation of the boiler components
• The sequence of operation
• Flue requirements 
• Fault finding.

Section two:

The Powermax HE, an unvented cylinder combined with a premix-condensing boiler, including:

• An overview of unvented hot water systems.

Aims of the course:

On completion of the course delegates should understand:

• The principles of the two types of appliance 
• Installation requirements.
• Commissioning procedure
• The operating sequence
• The function and operation of principal components.

Suggested prior knowledge or understanding
