Once you've confirmed your eligibility for a Boiler Scrappage Scheme grant, your next step is to contact a Gas Safe registered installer. You can find your nearest Baxi installer using our helpful Find an Installer tool.
Get a quote for replacing your SEDBUK (2005) <70% rated boiler with a new SEDBUK (2005) >90% high efficiency boiler and/or low carbon appliance. If you're not sure which Baxi SEDBUK (2005) >90% high efficiency boiler would make the ideal replacement for you, our product selector will be able to recommend one based on your home's specific heat requirements or ask your installer.
Once you have your quote, you'll need to contact the EST (on 0800 512 012 or boilerscrappage@est.org.uk) and provide them with the following details:
- Your name and address
- The make and model of the SEDBUK (2005) <70% rated boiler being replaced
- The company name, address, Gas Safe number and contact details of the installer carrying out the work, you can find this by visiting the Gas Safe register
- The make and model of the replacement boiler
- The type of replacement boiler and/or low carbon appliance being installed
If you are eligible, the EST will issue you with a £400 voucher. The voucher should arrive within 10 working days, and remains valid for 18 weeks.
