Biomass
Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organisms. In the context of biomass for energy this is often used to mean plant based material, but biomass can equally apply to both animal and vegetable derived material.
Renewables
Renewables is the generic term for technologies that use natural and naturally replenished resources, such as heat from the sun, wind, water or from biomass, to satisfy domestic hot water and space heating requirements.

Solar
Solar is the technology that harneses the free power of the sun to heat solar panels on the roof and turns this renewable energy into a heat source to create hot water for the home.
