In order to qualify for a £400 Boiler Scrappage Scheme grant, you'll need to meet certain criteria.
First and foremost, your existing boiler must be a SEDBUK (2005) <70% rated boiler (or worse).
To help you find out if your boiler is rated SEDBUK (2005) <70%, we've put together a comprehensive list of Baxi SEDBUK (2005) <70% rated boilers. If your boiler is on the list, then check to see that you also meet the following criteria:
- You must be the homeowner or a private tenant
- The boiler must still be functioning and must be the main boiler used to heat the home. If you are a householder (or tenant) over 60 years of age, you are eligible for the scheme regardless of whether the boiler is still functioning though other criteria still applies.
- The boiler must be installed in Scotland
