Back boilers provide heating and hot water without taking up any valuable living space. Tucked away neatly behind the fireplace, they actually create space in the home that would otherwise be given up to a wall-hung boiler.
Despite its compact size, a back boiler is more than capable of fulfilling all heating and hot water needs. It heats the water in a hot water storage cylinder, like the Megaflo Eco which means you can run hot water from several taps at once without loss of pressure.

A. In our experience, the Baxi Bermuda BBU HE and fire front can both be installed within a single day. Your installer will be able to advise more specifically on timescales.
A. Simple boiler controls are discreetly situated on the left hand side of the fire frame. So while they are easy to reach, they won't detract from the stylish look of your fire.
A. The new Baxi Bermuda BBU HE is considerably more efficient than older versions - meaning it turns more of the gas it uses into useable heat, which means less wasted energy and significantly lower heating bills.
A. When the boiler is fitted, the open flue is replaced with the single piece concentric flue - so there is no way for the combustion gases to escape. Electric fires bring their own benefits though. They are 100% efficient at the point of use and provide usable heat as soon as they are switched on. Gas fires, on the other hand, need to heat the flue before they become effective, which can take more than 20 minutes.
