Building Regulations

In 2005, Part L of the Building Regulations changed - stating that all new and replacement boiler installations must use high-efficiency boilers (SEDBUK Band B or above).

As a result of the change in legislation, replacing old, low efficiency back boiler units became a complicated process - both for installer and homeowner.

Wall-hung boilers had to be sited and installed, while the existing fireplace, surround and wall had to be completely redecorated.

Step forward the new Baxi Bermuda BBU HE - the first and only back boiler with a SEDBUK A rating. Meeting (and exceeding) Part L of the Building Regulations, the new Baxi back boiler is now the easiest, most cost effective way to replace an existing back boiler.

As a high efficiency appliance, the Baxi Bermuda not only meets building regulations but also helps homeowners to save money on heating bills. By replacing their old back boiler, your customers could save up to £375 each year.
