The new boiler scrappage scheme details were unvieled in January 2010. Under the scheme homeowners in Engand can claim £400 towards the purchase and installation of a new SEDBUK Band A boiler and / or low or zero carbon appliance.

Boiler scrappage schemes have now been extended to both Scotland and Wales. The Scottish Parliament has agreed to fund their own boiler scrappage scheme in their recent budget announcement.
