Biomass is biological material derived from living, or recently living organisms. In the context of biomass for energy this is often used to mean plant based material, but biomass can equally apply to both animal and vegetable derived material.
Baxi Biomass boilers offer an environmentally sound, heating solution. Burning biomass, such as pellets or logs, emits the same amount of carbon dioxide as is absorbed while the plants were growing. They efficiently extract energy to provide both heating and hot water.
The biomass range consists of both log burning and pellet burning units, both with three outputs available.
The Baxi Multiheat, pellet burning models are available in 15, 25 and 43kW outputs which all automatically modulate their heat output throughout the day. The integrated pellet hopper reduces installation and operating complexity.
Ideal for customers with a ready supply of timber, the Solo Innova range is available in 20, 32 and 48kW outputs. Installed in conjunction with a Baxi buffer store, the system retains the heat from combustion to service the property with constant heat.
