As part of its Decent Homes refurbishment programme, Pennine Housing 2000, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, has installed over 1200 Baxi Duo-tec Combi 28 HE boilers, purchased through the Synergy Partnership consortium.

Harry Taylor, Gas Maintenance Manager for Pennine Housing 2000, explains how Baxi has added value to the partnership and helped his team to provide a quick response for residents.

"We have had a good relationship with Baxi for a number of years so we were confident they would be willing to support us in providing a quality service to our tenants, and at the same time prevent installation faults occurring.

"Baxi provided installation and commissioning training for all our installers and service and maintenance training for our in-house gas operatives, both at its training centres and on site.

"This means we can offer an immediate service for our tenants.  The back up we receive from Baxi and its technical department at heateam ensures that we have all the expertise on hand, should it be required."

The homes include flats, sheltered housing, terraced and semi detached homes in Calderdale (near Halifax) and Sheffield and are part of around 13,000 properties owned and managed by Pennine Housing 2000.

"Baxi is a well known, award winning brand", concludes Harry. "Our partnership ensures we deliver a best value, quality product to our customers".

The Baxi Duo-tec Combi 28 HE was voted CORGI Boiler of the Year 2008, and Which? Best Buy 2007.  For more information, visit www.baxi.co.uk/baxiduoteccombi or call 0844 871 1525.
