The Baxi Duo-tec Combi 28 HE has been voted Boiler of the Year 2008. The prestigious award was presented to Baxi Sales Director David Cook at the glittering CORGI Awards ceremony. The event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry was hosted by comedian Michael McIntyre.
During the judging process, CORGI registered members were invited to vote on-line for their favourite boiler. The top three boilers then underwent rigorous testing by an independent panel of judges including industry experts and CORGI registered installers.
David Cook said: "The SEDBUK A rated Baxi Duo-tec Combi 28 HE gives householders the benefit of having hot water on tap almost instantly. Because of its high efficiency and low carbon dioxide emissions, they will benefit from substantial savings on their fuel bills by only heating the water they use. And they are doing their bit for the environment.
"This accolade is all the sweeter for us because it was voted for by the very people who work with it on a daily basis. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support."
This achievement comes hot on the heels of last year's success, when the Baxi Duo-tec 28 HE was awarded the UK's Best Buy by Which? magazine. It scored 77%, a figure that remains unbeaten!
The Baxi Duo-tec Combi HE range also includes 24, 33 and 40kW outputs so there is a model available for most domestic applications. For more information please visit the Baxi Duo-tec Combi page or call 0844 871 1525.
